1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bippity Boo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service.

2. Description of Service

Bippity Boo is a family logistics service that helps parents and guardians stay on top of school events, sports schedules, and activity deadlines. The Service can connect to your email accounts (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) to automatically identify family logistics emails and populate your family calendar and task list with relevant events and deadlines.

3. Account Registration

  • You must create an account to use the Service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Email Account Connections

Connecting an email account to the Service is optional. If you choose to connect an email account:

  • You authorise us to access your email in read-only mode solely to identify family logistics emails and extract actionable events and tasks
  • We use AI-assisted processing (Anthropic's Claude API) to analyse relevant email content — see our Privacy Policy for full details
  • You can disconnect any email account at any time from within the app settings, or by revoking access directly from your email provider's account settings
  • You agree to comply with the terms of service of your email provider (Google, Microsoft, Yahoo) when connecting their services

5. Google API Usage

When you connect a Google account, the Service uses Google APIs subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. By connecting your Google account you also agree to Google's Terms of Service. You can revoke Google access at any time via your Google Account permissions.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Not use the Service to transmit spam, malicious content, or harmful code
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the Service's source code
  • Comply with the terms of service of any connected third-party accounts

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, including our use of Google API data and AI-assisted processing. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Bippity Boo and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE, OR THAT ALL EMAILS RELEVANT TO YOUR FAMILY WILL BE DETECTED.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIPPITY BOO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by disconnecting all email accounts from within the app settings and contacting us to request deletion of your data. Upon termination, our Privacy Policy governs retention and deletion of your data.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
